As a small independent business, we're incredibly grateful for the support our customers have shown us since we opened. Because of that support, we're proud to be able to raise awareness and funds for causes that are important to us and the wider community.
Rather than supporting a large number of organisations, we have chosen to focus our efforts on a select number of charity partners. This allows us to build meaningful relationships, help raise awareness of their work, and make a genuine difference through fundraising initiatives, customer donations and special projects.
Our chosen charity partners represent causes that we feel deserve recognition, support and greater visibility. Whether through collection tins in store, fundraising campaigns, special events, merchandise or online promotion, we are committed to helping these organisations continue the incredible work they do.
Every donation made through Astarte Aquaria charity initiatives is entirely voluntary, and 100% of funds collected through our charity collection points are passed directly to the relevant organisation.

Ravelrig Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA)
Ravelrig RDA is a local charity dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults through the unique benefits of horse riding and equine-assisted activities.
As part of the wider Riding for the Disabled Association network, Ravelrig provides opportunities for people with a wide range of physical disabilities, learning disabilities and additional support needs to experience the physical, emotional and social benefits that interaction with horses can bring.
The charity relies on the dedication of volunteers, supporters and donors to help provide safe, enjoyable and accessible riding experiences for its participants. Through their work, they help build confidence, independence, communication skills and wellbeing, while creating opportunities that may not otherwise be available.

National Great Dane Rescue
The National Great Dane Rescue is a UK charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of Great Danes in need.
Whether a dog has been surrendered, abandoned, neglected or simply requires a new home due to a change in circumstances, the charity works tirelessly to ensure every Great Dane receives the care, support and second chance it deserves.
The charity's volunteers provide a wide range of support, including assessing dogs, arranging foster placements, providing veterinary care where required and carefully matching dogs with suitable forever homes. Their work helps ensure these gentle giants can go on to live safe, happy and fulfilling lives.
As a breed-specific rescue, The National Great Dane Rescue plays an important role in protecting and advocating for one of the world's most iconic dog breeds. Their commitment to welfare, education and responsible ownership helps improve outcomes for both dogs and owners alike.
